• Must get some good and serious training in for the London Triathlon (#lontri). Only 8 weeks to go. The diet starts tomorrow. #
• Results in: Should’ve been better, hills are my excuse. Swim 20:14/750m, Bike 41:35/20km, Run 30:38/5km, Total 01:39:58. Damn those hills #
• Took decision not to wear socks or gloves on ride and run, only the necessary. It should pay off for faster transition times. We’ll see… #
• Blenheim Tri: Took a while to aclimatise to swim, bike leg was much hillier than expected, thankfully the run was OK. Results to follow soon #
• Blenheim Triathlon conquered! bike cleaned, wetsuit washed down, at home relaxing. Waiting for the times to be sent to me via SMS #
• It’s the morning of the triathlon and the skys have well and truely opened up. Should be interesting. #
• Need to ramp up the carb loading in the run up to the Blenheim Triathlon this Sunday. Must remember to get some more SIS drink #
• Evening Road Ride: Testing new shoes/pedals/tri bars on the Essex Loop. All good. 38.35 km, 1 h 23 m, ave 27.7 km/h, ave 153 bpm, 1,811 cals #
