The forecast is a grim one for those of us commuting by bike or planning a long ride this week, particularly on the back of the recent milder, albeit wet weather.
Our advice is to keep a close eye on the weather forecast for the next 48 hours, and above all make sure that you are fully prepared for the weather if or when you do venture out on your bike.
After being hit by record rainfall and flooding throughout December and early January, parts of Scotland and the north of England have already experienced some snowfall as cold weather arrives from Scandinavia.
