New British television channel dedicated to cycling arrives on Virgin Media TV after being launched on Sky last year Geraint Thomas chases Roelandts in the 2015 Ghent-Wevelgem Having been launched late last year on Sky , cycling channel BIKE has now been signed up by Virgin Media TV.
The TV station dedicated solely to all facets of cycling can be found on Virgin channel 552 as well as Sky channel 464.
BIKE offers a mix of programmes, including live race coverage, documentaries and magazine shows that encompasses road and off-road disciplines.
According to the channel, it will air live coverage and highlights from a range of races including Ghent-Wevelgem to stage races including the Giro d’Italia, the UCI Mountain Bike Cross Country and DH World Cup as well as cyclo-cross and BMX competitions.
Along with the Giro and Ghent-Wevelgem, the list of road races covered includes the Dubai Tour, Tour of Oman, Tirreno-Adriatico, Milan-San Remo, Il Lombardia and the Tour of Yorkshire. A full list is available on the Virgin Media website .
