A video camera and GPS bike computer all rolled into one Setting up a video camera and GPS computer on the handlebars of your bike can take up a lot of space, so why not combine the two into one compact product? That’s the idea behind the Camile, a new integrated action camera and GPS computer. The Camile is made by Chinese company MiniWing and it has just launched on the Indiegogo crowdfunding website. It hopes to raise $20,000 to put the product, which it has been developing for the past year, into production.
Despite its compact appearance, the Camile packs a video camera capable of recording HD 1080p/30 fps or 720p/60fps, with a 140-degree wide-angle lens to capture all the action from your cycle ride. The camera offers two shooting modes, video or burst shooting mode, with intervals of between three and 30 seconds. The Camile packs WiFi and Bluetooth so you can edit the footage on a smartphone, using the company’s own app, from where you can easily share the edit you’ve created. You can also setup smart notifications as well for messages and phone calls.
