Everything you need to know for choosing the right bike for you Vitus started out as a French bike manufacturer famous for its steel and aluminium framesets in the 1970s and 1980s. Ireland’s Sean Kelly reckons that he won 75-80% of his career victories on Vitus bikes.

Online retailer Chain Reaction Cycles (CRC) bought the brand and relaunched it in 2009. CRC sells bikes direct to the consumer, cutting bike shops out of the equation, and that allows it to offer some very low prices.

As a rule, CRC sells bikes at RRP for about a month, then drops the prices by 10%, so we’ll give you both the RRP and the reduced selling price for each bike.
