Union Cycliste Internationale Facebook page was subject to a stream of unpleasant spam postings on Thursday The Union Cycliste Internationale Facebook page was subject to a hack attack on Thursday, with a stream of risqué spam posts left in the world governing body’s timeline.
Despite several users reporting that they sent messages to the organisation, it took several hours for the UCI to delete the offending messages, during which time the hack caused some amusement on social media.
With the hacker’s spam safely consigned to the trash bin, the UCI posted up a message on Thursday evening saying that it was back in control of the page.

“As you may have noticed our page was being hacked for the last few hours… But we’re now back on track for the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships this weekend!”
The posts included tantalising titles such as ‘the Dribble Dancers are back with the dance moves you can’t take your eyes off’ and ‘blind for booty’. All appeared to be linked to dodgy website www.laughwithvoice.com (we recommend that you don’t click the link).
