For a T-shirt to fit correctly, you’re looking for the sartorial equivalent of the Goldilocks zone: not too loose but not too tight, either. David Beckham, perhaps the king of white T-shirt wearers ably demonstrates here. A skin-tight gym T-shirt is fine if you’ve got triceps like Chris Hemsworth but until then you want one that fits well and leaves just enough room to move. If you can fit more than two fingers inside the sleeve then it’s too loose. Consider trying the next size down.
